meet your photographer
Hey! I'm Heather and I officially started this little business in 2018. Before that I had worked assisting another local photographer for several years and she was a wonderful mentor. I am originally from Wichita, Kansas but met my husband there and we moved to East Texas in 2002. We have two cats and a recently rescued stray dog.
In my full-time life I am an elementary art teacher, and in my spare time I run my photography business. After several years of shooting I came to realize that the sessions I enjoy the most are SENIORS! I like spending time with fantastic young people who are about to embark on the next phase of adventure in their lives.
So why should you hire me? I promise to try to make your session fun and will be your hype girl throughout. I also will deliver images that are true to color and show the authentic you. We can pick locations that are special to you, and also include your hobbies and interests in your shoot. Did I mention I will also surely crack bad jokes and probably trip over my own feet several times?
